International Events Management BSc (Hons)

Studying International Events Management at Salford Business School prepares you for high-level events management careers across the globe. From corporate hospitality to music festivals and sports events, the world of events management is fast-paced, varied and ever-evolving. Graduates with professional skills, strategic ability and industry knowledge are highly sought after by employers in a wide range of sectors.The modules delivered on the International Events Management programme are designed to reflect the current needs of employers, so, from the outset, the skills and knowledge you will develop are aligned with international trends and best practice.Like all students at Salford Business School, you’ll have the chance to put the knowledge you gain into practice by getting involved with a work placement. Opportunities to expand your knowledge of another culture are also available through the study exchange abroad or the optional language modules offered throughout the programme.This course is also available with a Professional Experience Year, giving you the opportunity to apply the skills, knowledge and understanding you have gained in the first two years of the course. International placement opportunities exist for this year. If you choose to take the professional year option, you will not pay fees to the University and will earn a wage for the work that you do. There are different entry requirements and course codes for the Professional Experience Year option. In addition, you may choose to Study Abroad with one of our partner Universities for a semester or a year.This degree is also offered with a Foundation Year.
