Course summary

Our course combines practical study of Italian and Spanish with investigations into the nature of language itself. You'll gain an understanding of Spanish and Italian culture and society which will underpin your abilities as a high-level communicator in both languages. You'll be confident using your languages not only as a means of communication, but also as a medium for critical thought. You'll spend a year abroad studying or teaching in Italian and Spanish-speaking countries, consolidating your language skills.
