Our research spans across the department and our expertise covers areas from Italian history to sociolinguistics. We have a focus on underexplored areas in Italian Studies, enabling you to conduct contemporary and innovative research.IntroductionItalian Studies at the University of Liverpool provides support and inspiration for research projects ranging from the social meaning of language practices and cognitive analysis of fiction and film through to Postcolonial Studies and Oral History.
