Teaching takes place in our state-of-the-art Stockwell Street Building, which is home to the School of Design. This amazing building contains a large interior living wall and many green roofs, which are used for teaching and research projects. You'll study a range of approaches to landscape design, from public spaces and waterfronts to town planning, urban development and regional strategies. As well as design studio work, you'll learn about the history and theory of landscapes, ecology, conservation, and digital communication. Our Landscape Architecture programmes encourage innovation and experimentation alongside practical approaches, allowing students the freedom to develop cutting-edge and workable design solutions to some of today’s environmental and social challenges. Your course portfolio will support employment opportunities in leading landscape architecture practices in the UK and around the world. Our landscape architecture degree is the only course of its kind in London and is accredited by the Landscape Institute.
