This qualifying law degree thoroughly covers the foundations of English law through core modules covering areas including tort, contract, trusts, criminal law and public law. It enables you to undertake further legal training to become a solicitor or barrister.Our optional modules enable you to specialise in the areas of law that interest you. If you don't want to practice law, you can choose optional modules from different subjects outside of the school which will expand your knowledge and career opportunities in a wide variety of sectors.You could also have the option to spend a year studying different legal systems at a partner law school in locations including Australia, Canada, Europe or the USA. This will give a global perspective to your studies and would look great on your CV.
