Liverpool Law School is one of the oldest law departments in the UK. We are committed to contributing, through the excellence of our research and policy work, to critical exploration of the role of law in promoting, or inhibiting, social justice. However, the study of law is not simply about acquiring knowledge. Throughout the duration of the programme, you are encouraged to learn new skills and enhance your existing abilities to equip and prepare you for the demands of any future career. We aim to provide a programme that fires your imagination and reflects your best endeavours in your final degree classification.We provide the widest possible range of modules that will be of interest to you as you develop your legal specialism. You can also undertake a dissertation, which is a self-directed research project, and make an original contribution to contemporary law and policy debates.
