We have strong links with industry, working with leading firms and organisations including Squire Patton Boggs, military legal services, Levi Solicitors, Park Square Barristers, Trinity Chambers, and more.You’ll also have opportunities to attend experience days, short internships, and insight events.

Through our Law Clinic, you’ll help provide confidential, free legal advice to members of the public, gaining invaluable, CV-boosting experience while making a real difference.You can also volunteer with Support Through Court, a charity helping litigants in person navigate court processes – you can even do a short placement before you start your studies with us. Or you could join our Street Law programme, delivering practical legal education on issues such as criminal law, social media, and workplace discrimination.

We subscribe to Law Trove, an online service from Oxford University Press worth over £200, meaning you can save money on expensive textbooks. You’ll have access to hundreds of core law texts to read online, download chapters, and print what you need.

You can compete in mooting, negotiation, mediation, client interviewing, and debating competitions. You'll refine your arguments, think on your feet, and build the confidence to perform under pressure.

You'll be paired with a professional mentor from the Leeds' legal community, giving you insider insight into the profession and tailored career guidance.
