By studying Law alongside Business, you will explore the links between the business world and the legal system as you embark on a professionally recognised Law degree with a strong business element. We aim to make you more employable by offering additional extras such as mooting/debating events and guest lectures.

As well as covering the major legal areas one would expect, we provide optional modules that allow you to develop your studies to your own interests, while retaining a clear business element.

We use our links with the local legal community to enhance our provision (e.g. guest lectures) and to help students make the most of their Work-Based Learning placements during second year.

Assessment

Assessment methods include examinations, essays, presentations and critical reflections.

Job prospects

The range of teaching and assessment methods used on the programme, as well as the excellent opportunities for self-development offered via our Work-Based Learning module, assist students in demonstrating, on graduation, an extensive range of skills that are transferable to a variety of professions. Our graduates have gone on to successful careers as solicitors and barristers as well as other professional roles and further study.
