Course summary
Our LLB Law with Criminology course is a joint honours degree that builds on many topics. You will learn how to contextualise crime in its wider social and political setting, as well as how to evaluate new policy developments in law and justice. The course develops your understanding of the nature and complexity of the criminal justice system in the UK, international legal and criminal justice systems, and their relevance and influence in a global society. Subjects are taught by both lawyers and criminologists who are actively engaged in researching current and relevant topics, enabling you to benefit from up-to-date thinking and knowledge. You will leave prepared for a professional career in law as a solicitor or barrister or in criminology and community justice.
