Course summary

Overview

If you already have some experience or qualifications in the leather industry, this course will help you top that up to a full degree. Typically, students will have completed our Diploma in Leather Technology. Our course is very flexible, to suit your interests, while also helping you learn everything you need to meet the expectations of employers in the leather industry. This means that when you graduate, you will be highly sought after and you will be able to find work in the area of leather supply chain that you are most interested in.

COURSE DETAILS

Our Leather degree is the only one like it in the UK. You will be able to specialise in the aspect of the leather industry that you find most interesting from a number of leather modules taught by industry experts in workshops and seminars.

Assessments

You will be assessed in both theory and practical work by a variety of methods including practical reports, research assignments and examinations.

Careers and Employability

When you graduate from this course, you will find yourself in high demand from employers. We routinely see 100% of graduates enter employment or further study, since we have more requests from employers than we have graduates to fill their vacancies.

Roles include technical management, chemical sales and technical support within research and development, as well as advisory positions in leather purchasing for companies using leather, including clothing, upholstery and automotive industries.
