Master of Laws (LLM)

Who is this course for?

If you have completed your LPC with us at The City Law School and want to improve your prospects while demonstrating a specific commitment to legal practice, this programme is ideal.

This course is only available if you completed the LPC before September 2017 and within five years of completion.

You will be self-motivated and organised as this is a distance learning course with no taught lessons.

By the end of the Legal Practice LLM you will have built a strong specialist knowledge base and developed transferable skills in research and writing. Your career prospects will be significantly enhanced.

If you are seeking a training contract or pursuing an alternative legal career, our LLM will be a valuable qualification to add to your CV.

Your dissertation will be a powerful asset in demonstrably proving your commitment and knowledge of a specialist area of law.

While many enjoy successful legal careers, our graduates also pursue work in finance, banking and the civil service.
