Who is it for?

A degree apprenticeship enables individuals to earn whilst they learn, combining academic study at University with substantial training and development of transferable skills in the workplace. The Digital and Technology Solutions Specialist is a Master's level degree apprenticeship which provides employers with the opportunity to upskill existing staff, or recruit new talent in to their organisation.

“A Digital & Technology Solutions Specialist maintains digital and technology strategies through technology leadership; investigating, identifying and implementing technological strategic solutions. They direct digital technology provision by studying organisation goals, strategies, and practices and delivering and supporting strategic plans for implementing digital technologies”.

Why do the apprenticeship?

It will provide apprentices with a way to both earn in their chosen area of employment, and study to obtain a MSc degree.

What are the benefits?

The blend of technical and management skills will enable apprentices to gain confidence, competence and capability to apply leadership within their organisation. Learned management skills will enable apprentices to operate in a range of digital and technology related specialist roles. Apprentices are not required to pay University tuition fees, and will earn a full-time wage.
