Course summary

A Liberal Arts degree at Regent’s gives you the freedom to design your own education, tailoring your degree to reflect your interests and career goals. With eleven majors and 50 elective modules to choose from, you’ll have the flexibility to create your own unique degree – mixing modules to shape your studies freely, in a way that suits you. If you don’t have the qualifications to enter the degree-level course directly, or if you aren’t sure which major you’d like to follow, our Integrated Foundation course is for you. The four-year course begins with a foundation year, introducing you to various Liberal Arts topics and giving you the fundamental skills to confidently progress to degree level.  The study of psychology helps us to understand why we think, feel and act in the ways we do. The Psychology major covers social psychology, neuroscience, marketing psychology and the psychology of fashion and sport – exploring topics such as sexuality, cultural differences, evolution and behaviour. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to undertake practical experiments using specialist facilities (software that records heart rate and brain activity, psycho-physiological hardware, voice monitoring, an eye tracker, data analysis programmes and dedicated lab space) and your research findings will inform your understanding of different scientific theories and methodologies. Specialise in Psychology and pair it with a mix of elective modules each year – helping to develop your specialist knowledge as well as your cross-disciplinary thinking. You’ll also be able to minor in a second subject, becoming an expert in multiple interlocking areas – connecting themes and topics across disciplines. January start date – apply on our website. September start date – apply through UCAS.
