Course summary

A Liberal Arts degree at Regent’s gives you the freedom to design your own education, tailoring your degree to reflect your interests and career goals. With eleven majors and 50 elective modules to choose from, you’ll have the flexibility to create your own unique degree – mixing modules to shape your studies freely, in a way that suits you. If you don’t have the qualifications to enter the degree-level course directly, or if you aren’t sure which major you’d like to follow, our Integrated Foundation course is for you. The four-year course begins with a foundation year, introducing you to various Liberal Arts topics and giving you the fundamental skills to confidently progress to degree level.  The International History major offers an in-depth insight into global history – examining how the past has shaped our world today and, in turn, how the present can impact tomorrow. You’ll learn how different cultures and civilisations interact and evolve over time and touch on a variety of histories including British, the cultural exchange between Europe and the Middle East, the USA’s influence on global politics and the development of China. Evaluate evidence, compare opposing viewpoints and draw conclusions about the world around you – learning in the heart of London, with access to world-class archives and museums. Specialise in International History and pair it with a mix of elective modules each year – helping to develop your specialist knowledge as well as your cross-disciplinary thinking. You’ll also be able to minor in a second subject, becoming an expert in multiple interlocking areas – connecting themes and topics across disciplines. January start date – apply on our website. September start date – apply through UCAS.
