Liberal Studies (Media and Communications) with Integrated Foundation BA (Hons)

This is an American-style degree, four years in length. The Media Communications major offers a grounding in media history, theories and developments, helping you find and analyse media meaning and content. The programme also introduces you to writing and producing for various forms of media - essential skills for work in the communications and creative industries. In your foundation year you undertake a general education programme which provides a comprehensive foundation for your degree studies. From the first year of your degree, you choose a ‘major’ subject area whilst taking a range of ‘electives’ to tailor your degree to match your passions and interests.
