About the course

Hertfordshire Business School's part-time online MBA enables you to develop the critical and reflective strategic leadership skills you need to succeed in an uncertain world, challenging your assumptions, cultivating flexible thinking, effective decision making and responsible management.
As a Hertfordshire MBA student, you’ll be supported by our virtual learning environment, StudyNet, which provides access to other students, structured online study materials, online activities or tasks and over 100,000 e-books and e-journals. The academic team who lead and deliver on the respective modules are dedicated tutors with a student-focused approach. You’ll also benefit from the support and supervision by our expert research-active staff. The programme is offered in a part-time (2 year) mode and leads to the award of a Master of Business Administration. This requires 180 credit points at Level 7.

What will I study?
Our teaching and learning methods ensure you are able to actively engage with your own development. All of the online study and teaching resources have been designed in a highly structured and complementary way to take you progressively through business concepts and to give you confidence, enhance your skills and expertise when completing specific tasks. A participative style is used throughout to enable you to learn from your fellow students, as well as from teaching staff. Experiential learning is central to our teaching philosophy, utilising web-based activities and reading, alongside case studies, reflective writing and live or asynchronised discussions.
