In our digital age, we create an ever-increasing volume of data every day. With enormous data sets emerging across all industries, the ability to analyse, interpret, and communicate data through statistical analysis is an increasingly important skill. Our expert teaching team deliver all-round mathematical training with an in-depth study of statistics. You’ll start by building a foundation across pure, discrete, decision and modern applied mathematics. Then specialise in a range of topics from computational statistics to actuarial mathematics. Apply for our Mathematics and Statistics BSc with Professional Placement to spend a year carrying out paid work in the financial sector as part of your degree. As well as helping you to stand out from the crowd and secure graduate employment, a placement is an excellent opportunity to develop your business skills and put your learning into context. As part of your learning, you’ll have the opportunity to apply to take a year abroad or kickstart your career with a professional placement. Being in our London location, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
