About mathematics at the University of Nottingham

The first year of the degree gives you a flavour of the different areas of mathematics on offer. You will cover topics spanning applied mathematics, pure mathematics, statistics and probability. You will work individually and in groups to solve real-world problems using advanced theories and techniques.
