Introduction
Prepare to take your career in business management and finance to the next level with our MBA in Finance. You want a rigorous grounding in management, strategy and leadership, but also international finance and investment. Our MBA Finance gives you this. Taking real-world challenges as our starting point, there's a strong focus on practical, hands-on learning, including the option to take a placement in industry. As a postgraduate student at ARU, you’ll experience an exciting mix of business strategy alongside in-depth finance modules. You’ll be able to enhance your existing skills and ignite your career – whichever direction you wish to take it in.
Our MBA Finance gives you both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in international finance and investment. You’ll spend time analysing numbers as well as business plans, autonomously and as part of an organisation’s senior leadership team – all the while enhancing your employability. You’ll also get instant access to our Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab, where you can discover financial trading in a safe, supportive space. Working alongside your peers, you’ll develop analytical and trading skills, conduct financial investment analysis, and make investment decisions. An MBA is a valuable qualification that’s recognised around the world. Studying MBA Finance at ARU is a great way to develop your career, increase your earning potential and learn more about a subject you love.
How you'll be assessed
We place a strong emphasis on practical and professional skills. You’ll be assessed on work-based assignments, research projects, syndicate work and group presentations.
Careers
Our MBA course will give you solid understanding of the principles of business management and finance, and serve as good preparation for a career in the fast-moving world of business. It’s your opportunity to learn advanced level skills across a range of financial areas, including working with complex data and using sophisticated mathematical and simulation modelling techniques. You'll be able to manipulate data to aid decision and policy making. You may ultimately work at managerial and directorial levels in a wide range of financial environments. Graduation doesn’t have to be the end of your time with us. You could choose to continue your academic career with a PhD programme at ARU.
