Course summary
Our Mechanical Engineering BEng course develops you into a skilled incorporated engineer. And prepares you for a career in any area of mechanical engineering. You can also take our MEng to become a chartered engineer.You’ll develop your specialist knowledge in the core fields of engineering and learn how to apply basic principles to complex problems. You will study:engineering scienceapplied mathematicsmanufacturing techniqueselectronicsgraphics and design. We will develop your design and analytical skills through individual and group work. You’ll gain practical skills by manufacturing a model Stirling Engine in our workshop.We offer you excellent work placements with companies such as Bentley, BMW and Rolls Royce.
