The remaining 3 Mechanical units are all about an in depth look at the mechanical principles, thermodynamics and fluid dynamics. As with all engineering, you will need to study higher level mathematics as well as Engineering Science along with Engineering Design and Management of Projects. What you learn in these units is then applied to your remaining units. This course is appropriate both for those wishing to continue their education through applied learning, as well as offering career progression and professional development for those already in employment. The course is taught by well qualified and industry experienced lectures who are dedicated to ensuring student success through effective curriculum delivery and high-quality pastoral support. If you have successfully completed an HND then you could apply to complete a full BEng Honours degree. Your second option would be to seek employment with an engineering company. If you wish to study for an HND in Mechanical Engineering, you will need to successfully complete an HNC first as your HND unit build on the knowledge gained in your HNC.
