This is a four year course with integrated Foundation Year - progression to the degree stages is subject to satisfactory Foundation stage results. The BA in Media and Communication will give you a strong understanding of the media industries – TV, film, new media, newspapers, radio – and also covers trends in media culture and communication.Our foundation year offers the chance to strengthen your skills, knowledge and confidence – with extensive support from our expert staff – before you advance to stage one of your honours degree. It could also be beneficial if you are planning a career change and want to get to grips with aspects of subjects which are new to you.WHY CHOOSE THIS COURSE?Media and Communication has a really interesting range of modules such as Researching the Audience, Multimedia Skills, News Culture and the Public Sphere, Digital Games and Gamification, and PR and Social Media.
