In today's media-saturated culture youre never far from a story.

As part of your course, youll:

Understand the connections between the study of media and the study of English literature

Evaluate a range of literary and media texts, forms and styles to learn how society uses narratives from the 18th Century to the modern day to make sense of itself and the wider world

Teaching & Learning

Independent study is a crucial part of learning at university and you will be required to undertake many hours of self-directed research and reading, and preparation and writing of assessments. Outside of your lectures, workshops and tutorials, a range of support is available to assist with your independent study.
