You'll start with two core modules - Teaching & Learning in Medical Education and Principles of Assessment in Medical Education. These will give you a strong overview of the core concepts of medical education. You'll then complete a specialist module specific to your role as a teacher in the context of anaesthesiology.Following this certificate, you could progress on to our PGDip or Masters courses to further your learning.Careers:This course will prepare you to take on new challenges and responsibilities in your career. You'll gain a strong understanding of the underlying principles of medical education in relation to anaesthesia, and how the field is changing to react to the demands of modern healthcare teaching. You'll have the knowledge and skills to deliver the medical curriculum more effectively, and also be fully equipped to design and evaluate medical training at all levels, ensuring effective development of those you are training.
