MEng (Hons) Chemical Engineering (Heriot-Watt)

Please note that due to COVID-19, this course will initially be delivered via a blended learning approach, which may include face-to-face learning in the classroom, remote learning off-campus and digital learning. When delivery is taking place on-campus, there will be reduced student numbers and physical distancing measures in place.

Chemical engineering is an exciting and challenging area of study. Chemical engineers take a raw material and turn it into a useful product as cost effectively as possible. Progression

On successful completion of this course students may progress onto a related degree programme. Forth Valley College has formal articulation links in place for entry into year 3 of the following degree programmes:

Students are Associate Students of Heriot Watt University. Successful completion of the first two years progression requirements guarantees a place on the third year of the MEng/BEng (Hons) Chemical Engineering degree. Associate Students have access to University facilities, attend a programme of activities and visits to the University and are eligible for the University’s Access Bursary from their third year at the University.
