Our international community of researchers has an excellent record of winning external funding, and our research centres provide structure and support, promoting collaboration and impact.

As an MPhil/PhD level student you will become part of a research-intensive Graduate School, studying with some of the leading scholars in their disciplines.

Careers

Our postgraduate programmes are designed to give you career progression in your specialist educational area of choice. On completion, you will be equipped with a range of academic, personal and professional skills.

In addition to the College's Employability Officer, Career Zone gives access to a wealth of business contacts, support and training as well as the opportunity to meet potential employers at our regular Careers Fairs.

Postgraduate research students can access our Postgraduate Researchers' Programme, which covers a range of topics for a successful research degree and acts as a springboard for a research career.

MPhil/PhD

With this route, you register for an MPhil and follow some research training, without undertaking assessment, in the first year. This is currently 1 or 2 research training modules according to previous experience.
