The MSc in Medical or Human Sciences (by thesis) is ideal for you if you want to get involved in postgraduate research, and obtain the skills to progress to a PhD or MD.The MSc by thesis gives you an opportunity to conduct an independent research project. You can work in a wide range of areas. Our students are researching topics as diverse as cardiac function in high-risk surgical patients, enteral nutrition for pre-term infants, the correlation of vitamin D with genotype in populations, interprofessional health education, the identification and management of delirium in palliative care, and dental evolution in humans. Previously awarded research theses are available on the HYDRA digital repository.Throughout your degree, you will be supervised by a leading expert in the field and supported by a Hull York Medical School Thesis Advisory Panel.
