Employability

What are my career prospects

Most Accounting and Finance graduates choose employment that enables further study with a view to obtaining a full professional qualification and a career in accounting and/or finance. This course is designed to help you apply for registration with the professional bodies in accounting and finance.

We work closely with the professional bodies and regional employers to ensure our students can maximise any opportunity to benefit from: networking sessions and seminars delivered by professional bodies; events run by regional employers. such as Santander, Sky, JP Morgan, CAA, Equitable Life and many more.

You could also use your degree (and the more general business and personal skills you’ll have developed) as a foundation for a career in general management in a wide range of organisations. Many students will go on to study for professional accountancy qualifications offered by bodies such as ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or IFA.
