Course summary
The Electroacoustic Composition/Sonic Art pathway invites you to help map out the next steps in Birmingham’s thirty year history as a world leader in the area of electroacoustic music composition and presentation. A solid grounding in the field, its aesthetics and traditions is augmented by instruction in the latest techniques and technology. Your learning will be enhanced by our extensive facilities, including the Bramall Music Building and the Electroacoustic Music Studios and Birmingham ElectroAcoustic Sound Theatre (BEAST). Your degree will provide excellent preparation for employment and this will be further enhanced by a range of employability support services offered by the University.
