Your Natural Sciences degree will offer you the opportunity to work with real world problems, helping you to develop an understanding of the social, ethical, political and economic issues that arise in the application of Science.Not structured like other traditional degrees, this interdisciplinary programme gives you the opportunity to combine Natural Sciences modules with modules across a variety of disciplines. With help and guidance you will be able to choose from 1000+ modules, allowing you to tailor and shape your degree to suit your specific interests and career aspirations.The modules you take will deepen your knowledge across the sciences and will help you to develop the practical and conceptual skills you will need to tackle complex issues in the real world. You will carry out significant and original research projects, including a six-month full time placement where you could find yourself conducting laboratory experiments alongside some of the world’s leading researchers, investigating ocean currents on board a research vessel, trialling new biomedical devices in hospitals, or exploring extreme environments.
