Our degree in adult nursing prepares you for the role and responsibilities as a registered nurse. You'll be working in the NHS serving south-east London and Kent.We provide you with the skills to meet the needs of patients and their significant others. This will include experience in the hospital, independent and the home environment. You will learn accountability for the important role you will play in their lives.We prepare you to apply for registration as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Our degree will help you achieve the outcomes identified in the NMC Standards for Pre-registration Nurse Education (2019).All nursing students on courses from September 2020 may benefit from guaranteed, additional support of at least £5,000 a year, which they will not need to pay back.**What you should know about this course:*** Nursing and Midwifery at Greenwich is number one in London for satisfaction with teaching (Guardian League Tables 2021 )* Nursing students may benefit from additional support of at least £5,000 a year to help with living costs.* Our highly qualified staff are both teachers and researchers, giving you access to a talented pool of educators.* You will be placed in a NHS trust for the three-year course, although you will have the opportunity to change your placement area for part of Year 3.* You will be able to practice and develop your skills and knowledge in our brand-new simulation suite.
