Our Nursing (Mental Health) degree gives you both the theory and practical skills you’ll need to graduate as a registered mental health nurse. We will help you build and maintain your wellbeing and resilience within a ‘culture of care’, essential for both you and the people you will care for. You’ll gain fundamental skills in mental healthcare while learning to lead and manage yourself, the care you deliver and the service that you work in. With opportunities to gain professional experience through placements in a variety of healthcare settings, from community-based recovery teams to acute mental health hospitals, our graduates stand out from the competitionThe course has been developed in partnership with the Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust and benefits from research and practice-informed learning and teaching throughout. You’ll also be able to take advantage of outstanding facilities, including our state-of-the-art clinical skills ward, and teaching from experienced nurses and healthcare professionals.
