Become a nurse with MNurs Nursing (Child and Mental Health) at the University of Southampton, a course ranked 2nd in the UK and 6th in the world (QS World Rankings by Subject 2023), to shape the future of healthcare and be there when it matters.On your four-year integrated masters you will learn how to improve the quality of life for young service users and patients with complex mental health issue. This programme will also prepare you to work in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) through an extensive range of placements, simulated practice in our specialist facilities, and clinical skills teaching by world-class educators and practitioners.You will graduate from this course with the chance to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse (Child) and as a Registered Nurse (Mental Health).
