Course summary

Nurses are vital to the health and social care needs of the population. There’s an increasing demand for registered nurses with the ability to care for people with multiple or complex needs of all ages – whether at home, in the community or in hospitals. This stimulating integrated Masters level nursing degree (MSci dual award) has been developed for compassionate and highly motivated individuals who want to pursue this meaningful career. At the end of your Masters level degree, you’ll be able to register in two fields of nursing with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. During your MSci Nursing we’ll give you practical opportunities, through authentic simulated experiences and on placements, to help you become an effective leader capable of problem-solving successfully. Build your knowledge of anatomy and feel confident in providing professional standards of integrated nursing care. Enhance your career opportunities with a capacity to think critically and apply the evidence-based knowledge gained during this Masters level degree. At the end of your Masters level degree, you’ll be eligible to register in two fields of nursing with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
