Course summary

As a mental health nurse you'll work with people experiencing a wide range of mental experiences and distress. You'll build effective relationships with both service users and their relatives and carers. On our mental health nursing degree you'll have placements in a variety of settings, and simulation at university to ensure you can confidently apply theory to practice. You’ll share at least one module with students from other nursing fields, and some sessions with other disciplines. Graduates are eligible to apply for registration as a nurse with the NMC and are guaranteed a job with Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
