Occupational Health and Safety Management MSc

Our MSc Occupational Health and Safety Management programme is aimed at professional health and safety advisors and managerial, engineering and scientific staff with responsibilities for occupational safety and health (OSH).

This degree offers you the opportunity to advance your understanding of OSH management to a higher level by providing the academic knowledge and skills needed to develop sophisticated OSH policies, strategies and interventions relevant to a variety of organisational contexts, and against a backdrop of ever-changing regulatory, social and economic contexts.

The programme will also provide you with a comprehensive, up-to-date understanding of contemporary occupational health and safety management, allowing you to master a range of technical and non-technical skills appropriate to the practice of OSH. It offers flexible training for working professionals who do not have the opportunity for full-time study.

Holders of a recognised OSH diploma (eg NEBOSH) are able to enrol at a later stage of the programme, allowing a fast-track route to the award of MSc.
