This allows you you will learn with, from and about wider areas of healthcare that are relevant to your future profession. These experiences will help you to transform the lives of individuals and communities, working in collaboration to solve real-world problems.You will study at Collegiate Campus whilst undertaking academic modules and in a variety of service provider locations on placement.You learn through • lectures• self-directed study• practical sessions• simulation• group exercises• practice placement• interprofessional collaboration**Applied learning****Work placements**Throughout the course, you’ll undertake a mixture of clinical placements — such as at Yorkshire or East Midlands Ambulance Service — and in settings including emergency departments, pediatrics and operating theatres.This enables you to gain experience and apply your university-based learning to real life situations. **Networking opportunities**You will have access to a variety of societies where you can socialise, meet other students and gain access to a range of continuous professional development opportunities. We have our own award winning paramedic society which provides exposure to various learning and social experiences. These experiences enhance your learning journey and introduce you to a range of partnership organisations.**Accreditation**This course is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and endorsed by the College of Paramedics. Graduates are eligible to apply to register with the HCPC and to apply to become members of the College of Paramedics. You must be registered with the HCPC in order to practise as a paramedic in the UK.
