Our ground-breaking course will enhance your knowledge and skills in the interpretation of medical images.

This postgraduate clinical reporting course was the first of its kind to be validated and the pioneering work of this institution has been recognised as ‘ground-breaking’ and ‘sector-leading’.

Research associated with the course has received international recognition and the team has been commended for its use of research to inform learning and teaching, as well as for the degree of flexibility – meeting both student and stakeholder needs.

Why study MSc Clinical Reporting?

The course is jointly validated by the College of Radiographers and is designed for practitioners who wish to enhance their knowledge and skills in the interpretation of medical images. It provides support for developing service requirements for reporting radiographers and other healthcare practitioners at consultant and advanced practitioner levels. The aims of the programme and learning outcomes of modules encompass the four pillars of advanced clinical practice as described by Health Education England, namely: management, leadership, education and research.

Your future career

Successful completion of this course provides you with the skills and knowledge to enter or continue your career as an advanced practitioner or consultant within the radiography profession. Those who would like to continue to further pursue their academic potential will be able to apply for a place on the doctoral programme (MPhil/PhD) at Canterbury Christ Church University. Students can also exit with PGCert and PGDip awards.
