On this course, you’ll train to become a cognitive behavioural therapist. During your studies, you’ll:gain a critical understanding of cognitive behavioural models of anxiety disorders and depressiondevelop the skills to deliver high-quality, cognitive behavioural interventions across this range of problems.We currently offer one pathway through this course: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Common Mental Health Difficulties.This course is Level 2 British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) accredited. When you graduate, you’ll have the basis to apply for professional accreditation with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).This PGDip is offered in partnership between the School of Psychology at the University of Sussex, one of the largest psychology units in the UK, and the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
