This includes elements of clinical development and the role of the pharmaceutical scientist within the industry team that take a drug from research to the clinic. Graduates from this course have gone on to work in globally recognised pharmaceutical companies. The skills and knowledge gained during this course will enable you to not only work in the pharmaceutical industry but will offer you the potential to work in areas such as research and academia. The School has also developed a closely-related MSc programme 'Pharmaceutical Development with Business Management', which can be studied post-graduation to further enhance the skills and knowledge developed during the BSc programme.

A level : BCC

To include A-level Biology or Chemistry at grade B. To exclude Critical Thinking, Dual Award Applied Science, General Studies. A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics are considered but not in combination. A level Media Studies is only considered in combination with Biology and Chemistry.
