Our Pharmacology with Research Placement BSc(Hons) course offers an advanced programme of learning designed to give you the solid grounding you need to set off on your chosen career path, whether it’s in research, pharmaceutical industries or the health sector.- This course has advanced accreditation by the Royal Society of Biology (https://www.rsb.org.uk/education/accreditation)- During the course, we’ll be looking at all aspects of pharmacology including neurodegenerative diseases and other conditions affecting ageing populations, as well as infectious diseases such as malaria, tuberculosis and HIV-AIDS. You’ll also have the chance to study topics around public health and increase your understanding of emerging pathogens and those that are becoming resistant to antibiotics. In short, you should graduate with the knowledge and practical skills to kick-start a fulfilling career.- The third year is your chance to step out of the classroom and into the real world.
