Course summary

As a PhD student you will design, undertake, and write-up an in-depth independent research study, supported by your supervisory team.

Each year, you'll follow a programme of training and development to enhance your research methods, subject-matter expertise and professional skills. This part-time, professionally focused degree is divided into two parts. Part A is comprised of two years of research training units and Part B entails four years of supervised independent research, resulting in a thesis of between 40,000 and 60,000 words.
