This programme is for nurses, midwives and related professionals who wish to undertake a complex and original independent research project under the guidance of an experienced academic supervisor. Whether you're motivated to make a contribution to physical or mental health contexts - or whether you're interested in the health of the general population or a specific group of people - we're likely to have a supervisor to support you. You'll become part of a vibrant and supportive research community within our Faculty of Health Sciences, which offers high quality postgraduate research opportunities to students from a range of professional backgrounds. We are a rapidly expanding faculty with more than 115 academic staff, with diverse research interests and methodological expertise in many qualitative and quantitative research techniques. Our growing community of full and part-time research students benefits from the guidance of a strong team of committed and experienced supervisors and a lively and supportive research setting based within our award-winning Allam Medical Building - a £28-million health campus that is increasing our capacity to deliver life-changing research and improved health outcomes for our region and beyond.
