Course summary

**Summary**The Philosophy, Politics & Economics BA (Hons) at NCH offers three separate pathways to the degree. The Philosophy pathway enables you to study Philosophy as your major subject, comprising 50% of your undergraduate degree, alongside Politics and Economics as joint minors, each of which will form 25% of your degree studies. The central aim of our Philosophy, Politics & Economics BA (Hons) programme is to increase your understanding of, and ability to engage with, central questions, arguments, and texts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, and to provide a lively sense of interrelations between these subjects.**Teaching & Learning**You will typically experience an average of 11 or more hours of high-quality contact time in each teaching week, in considerably smaller groups than are the norm for UK institutions at the undergraduate level, if you choose to study the Philosophy, Politics & Economics BA (Hons). The exact number of contact hours will depend on your choice of optional courses.Your contact hours will include a mixture of teaching methods best suited to the subject matter and to achieve the learning outcomes for each individual course. Teaching formats include small group tutorials, seminars, and lectures of between 10 and 60 students for your degree courses.More information about the course can be found at: https://www.nchlondon.ac.uk/degrees/undergraduate/ppe/philosophy-politics-economics-ba-ppe-philosophy-major/
