Course summary

This course is guided by expert staff, and taught in small seminar groups, you develop critical analytical skills and the capacity to solve the real-world problems we all confront. For all students we host over 100 guest lectures every academic year, where you will meet international scholars, politicians and writers sharing their knowledge and experiences. Our graduates take up careers in politics, the public sector, teaching, journalism, law, social work and a variety of other areas including in business.

A number of our recent graduates work in politics, advising parliamentarians, and are involved in a range of political and charitable organisations. Some students stay on to complete postgraduate study with us at the University of Brighton and progress to research careers.
