Experimental physics is an essential part of our teaching. It provides you with the opportunity to develop your verbal and written communication skills through performing experiments individually, and as part of a group. You’ll have the chance to collaborate with our physicists on current research projects.At Leeds, we recognise the vital role physics plays in industry and, as such, our degree courses are designed to reflect the latest advancements and applications of the subject. This course will provide you with the specialist knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to launch a successful career across a wide range of sectors.

This programme gives you the opportunity to undertake a paid industrial placement year as part of the course. Our close industry links give you the platform to apply to a number of major organisations such as Elder Studios Ltd, Vodafone Ltd and Renishaw.
