Our BA Politics with Economics degree will provide you with an opportunity to pursue your interest in domestic and international politics, and tackle some of the big questions in modern politics, while developing a rich grasp of major debates that have shaped the economics.Our Politics with Economics BA (Hons) degree starts by building your knowledge and understanding of the key concepts of political practice and theory to an in-depth understanding of more specialised subjects such as populism, the EU, US politics, political violence, gender, justice and British politics. At the same time, it will introduce you to the major debates and developments in the field of economics, including topics such as micro- and macro-economics, economic theory and finance.The Politics with Economics degree is structured around a number of subject areas arranged into modules, each of which is worth a number of credits. It is intended that by your final year you will have successfully completed 360 credits to graduate, approximately two-thirds of which in Politics and one-third in Economics.
