Master of Laws (LLM)

Who is this course for?

Our programme is designed for you if you have taken the Bar Vocational Studies (BVS), Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) or Legal Practice Course (LPC) or equivalent vocational training to practice at the Bar of England and Wales.

We aim to enhance your understanding of advocacy practice and process in England, with the goal of advancing your career.

You may enrol straight after a law degree, but some experience of legal practice will help your studies.


When you graduate from the Professional Advocacy LLM you will have enhanced skills of advocacy and strong prospects for a career in the field.

You will be able to demonstrate deep understanding of advocacy and a mix of skills that can make an instant impression in the workplace.

Our aim is for you to be well positioned for legal and non-legal careers. This programme can help you develop a career in:
