Prosthodontics PGCert

This is an exciting and relevant full-time distance learning programme. It will be delivered online using the Blackboard Ultra platform; face-to-face online teaching/learning will be carried out for four sessions each week. The Certificate is grounded on the well established but shaped and responsive Masters in Prosthodontics. But distinct from this programme, no learning sessions nor supervised treatment of patients will be carried out in Dundee. In addition, there is no dissertation/research component.

On completion of this programme you will be able to care for patients more effectively. In addition, equipped with your new skills and knowledge, you will be able to support colleagues whether in the undergraduate or postgraduate arena.

This PGCert will provide one of the foundations, in order for you to sit

• a registrable GDC qualification
• MJDF
• MFDS.

Of note, there is a clear intention to progress this Certificate to a Diploma and then an aspiration to progress this to a Master’s Programme. The Masters component will have an intensive clinical component and the hope is that you will be supervised real time in your office/practice.
