Course overview

Gain an MSc in Psychiatry part time in one of the following specialties; Neurodevelopmental disorders, Child and Adolescent mental health, and Neuropsychiatry.

All UK home students must be registered health care professionals working with individual’s experiencing mental health issues. This can involve inpatient or community treatment settings in NHS or social care settings. Home students accessing the MSc Psychiatry must work in mental health in order to meet the programme requirements.

This course is a unique blend of academic learning and subspecialty clinical training. Face to face sessions have been designed to accommodate busy professional working commitments (one afternoon session per week). Occasional evening sessions and weekends maybe required. The teaching teams are all experienced psychiatric clinicians or mental health researchers.
